Commentary
Joshua Little, who has had a considerable amount of bowling in the nets, is wandering around the pitch. The Irish pacer is yet to play a single game this season.
Spencer Johnson has marked his run-up so has Vyshak Vijaykumar.
Glenn Maxwell (RCB): " Yeah, look I had a bit of time to get my body right. I wasn't batting as I would have liked to, and the results were also not going my way. It's also good to have that time to refresh and spend a bit more time with the family.
I was spending more time in the gym, looking at the physical and mental side of the game.
It's a pretty good place at the moment, I have got my mom and dad here, wide and child too. Still here supporting me, it's a great feeling. Would like to get some success today.
Family has played a massive role, I think the hard thing about this type of tournament is adaptability. To have a family is a good feeling, to share different moments with them, they were with me in the World Cup too, and they have really supported me.
I have a bit of time on the road now, with the World Cup coming up. I have been really confident with the way I have been training. My mindset hasn't been as good as it used to be. It can happen when you strive for the runs. When you try too hard it happens, we need to stick to our process."

Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore (GT): "I think the message is pretty clear: just play well and compete well. When we play to our best, we give ourselves the best chance to win. And that's the message from Ashu pa (Ashish Nehra).
I think as bowlers, there are very few things that you can control. If you can land the ball in the place where you want with the right amount of release, that's all you can control. The rest of it has to happen, and I think that detachment is required.
As a bowler, you want the ball in all phases of the game. Whenever there's pressure, you want the ball in your hand. You want the responsibility to impact the game in a way that the team can win. So I don't have any preference as such, whether it's middle overs or death overs. I'm ready to take up the pressure wherever it is.
I think there are very good skill levels within the group. More than the skill, it's the mental toughness that actually takes you through the long run. So I just hope that we all bounce back and play to the best potential that we can."

Swapnil Singh (RCB, translated from Hindi): "I have worked hard on my bowling, I have kept my focus on match awareness. What the batter is trying to do and I have worked on my skills and backed myself.
Not just in Bangalore, but all over India as you can see in every over batters have hit at least one or two. There is no such planning, I have tried to execute my balls, if the batter is playing good shots then it's fine. I don't want to give any freebies to them.
The momentum is on our side, we are playing well. Will Jacks, Virat Kohli everyone is in good form. Hopefully, we will look to continue the same thing."

Vyshak Vijaykumar (RCB, translated from Kannada): "The team's morale is very good. We have played well in recent games. There is a lot of positive energy in the set-up. Hopefully, we can continue with the winning ways.
Will Jacks is a gentleman. He helps everyone around and also supports them well. He gives good batting tips to anyone who asks him. He is a joyful person. He is pretty relaxed and has some fun with everyone as well. He is friendly. He has batted very well. In the nets, Jacks hits them pretty clean and big. We were pretty sure that he could hit a century in at least one of the games. So, if he can hit a couple more hundreds, we can turn the table around (chuckles).
There hasn't been any chat about the possible qualification to the playoffs. We are taking one match at a time. We are thinking about the process. We talked about the possible opportunity tonight and how we can do well. Hopefully, we will do well tonight and watch out for the next ones as they come. Thank you, Anna (Brother)."

Shahrukh Khan (GT, translated from Tamil): "First time batted at Number 4 and had to bat according to situation. Batted well and had a good partnership with Sai Sudharsan.
We have a different communication with each other and we know each other since TNPL days.
The atmosphere is relaxed and Ashish Nehra keeps it calm.
Revenge is a strong word to use. We are looking forward to the game ahead and play good cricket for the entirety of the 40 overs."

Pitch Report (Ian Bishop & Matthew Hayden):
Bishop: "Lovely to be back here at the iconic Chinnaswamy Stadium,, and we're just having a look around as we stand here, away from the surface, inside the inner ring. There are just a few bare patches from all the activity. That's understandable. So if you're fielding in this area here, just be careful as the ball runs to you from the brown patches into the grass; it might just bobble a little bit.
Now, let's move to ground zero and the strip that we're playing on here today, along with the boundary dimensions, because roles are always fascinating. It's about 57 meters away to my right, a little bit bigger, 64 away to my left. There's a little ramp for 55 meters down there, and a little flip for about 59 down towards fine leg. So watch out for the sixes."
Hayden: "Let's have a look at these conditions. Extremely hard, folks. And it looks like parts of this venue have been parched because there's not a lot of grass. But let me tell you, by the time the evening comes, this will have a really nice sheen, and it'll be very good for batting.
So, why is batting so good here? And why do they find it so easy? Because they can trust the bounce. This is purely about making shots, throwing your hands through the ball, looking towards your outfield, and finding the gaps.
It doesn't matter whether it's on the on-side or the offside because there's not a lot of grip in the wicket. And with spin as well, it's a bit the same. Even though the average turn here is quite high, they find the boundary easily because it's so small. They have zero doubt in their entire mind. So, you know, for me, it's a very high-scoring ground.
Bishop: "I'm staying neutral on that because we had some rain here yesterday, none today. Hopefully, there's no dew tonight because that could be a big factor."
